Sun City West summer concert series moves online

Annual tradition continues with new twist

Posted

The Recreation Centers of Sun City West have scheduled a series of online summer concerts.

First up in the series will be Duendes, Ellen and Ed Zacko’s new band, on Tuesday, June 9.

“For the safety of our community we will not be having our summer indoor concerts, however, we are going to be streaming our events online,” RCSCW stated in a news release. “You will be able to see them perform for a full week from the convenience of your home.”

The concerts will be streamed online at www.suncitywest.com. For additional information and to see the schedule of artists for this summer, click on “buy event tickets.”

The first show, on June 9, will be free. Future shows will cost $5 to view online, except the AZ Trio on Saturday, July 4, which will be free.

Residents can watch shows beginning on the date they are scheduled, and will be able to log in and watch from a computer or smart TV or even phone. These showings will work only on one device per transactions, so it is not a program that can be shared with multiple devices.

All shows will be available to view for one full week.
