Sun City West residents can help make the holidays brighter for their neighbors in senior homes.
Recreation Centers of Sun City West officials are once again planning to collect cards to ensure those in local care facilities are not forgotten during the holidays.
The card drive will run from 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, to noon Friday, Dec. 6. Write a message on the inside of a holiday card and include a festive greeting on the envelope. Do not seal it.

Beginning Nov. 18, collection sites will be available at all four recreation centers and the R.H. Johnson Library (library is closed on Mondays).
The specific drop-off sites include R.H. Johnson Membership Offices, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd., and the monitor’s desk at pool and fitness, the  Beardsley Recreation Centers staff offices, 12755 Beardsley Road, Kuentz Recreation Center monitor’s desk,  14401 R.H. Johnson Blvd., Palm Ridge Recreation Center,  13800 Deer Valley Drive or the R.H. Johnson Library, 13801 W. Meeker Blvd.
Blank cards can also be dropped off, but the preference is for residents to fill them out with a handwritten message.
According to the a press release from RCSCW officials, after all the cards are collected staff will drop them off at each facility.
