Sun City West resident Curia launches first book

Children’s story Easter focused

The first children’s book written by Sun City West resident Richard Curia is now available in time for Easter on Amazon.

“Jubilee Makes a Triumphant Entry: A Tale of Jesus and the Donkey” was published by Dig Deeper Publishing. The book is available in paperback and ebook versions on the Amazon online bookstore.

“It was such a joy to write and self-publish this book,” Curia said.

The story was developed in Arizona, the editing was done in New Zealand, the illustrations were done in India, the animated video trailer was done in England and the website was built in California. This was truly an international effort to produce, Curia added.

The original account of this event is captured in the Bible, under the four Gospels authored by Mathew, Mark, Luke and John, each from their own perspective. This book describes the same event except from the donkey’s perspective. This is a fictional Easter children’s story, presenting “Jubilee’s” birth, growing up and struggles Jubilee faces. This account is leading up to a miraculous healing where Jubilee enters Jerusalem carrying Jesus.

Jubilee is accompanied by his mother on this journey. They assumed they would be going into the village to get some supplies. Little did they know, God had other plans for what was to happen that day.

Curia is now undertaking a series of five books, which will be found along with “Jubilee Makes a Triumphant Entry.” Visit digdeeperpublishing.com to learn more about the book and watch the animated video book trailer of “Jubilee Makes a Triumphant Entry.”

Curia is a Christian and has been for almost 40 years. He has been a part of Facilities Management organizations for more than 30 years and is a licensed California electrical contractor. He manages construction projects at Grand Canyon University, located in Phoenix.

He holds an Executive Juris Doctor degree from Concord Law School, California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in criminology from Bellevue University, Nebraska. Curia grew up in southern California with four brothers.
