The Sun City West Desert Garden Club gave away $35,000 to nonprofit charities in the community last year, donating to 12 different organizations including the Sun City West Posse, PRIDES, Stella’s Wish Foundation (wish to be granted to Sun City West resident), the Sun City West Foundation, the Community Fund of Sun City West, Meals on Wheels for Sun City West, Valley View Community Food Bank, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Honor Flight of Arizona for a Sun City West resident, Sun City West Helping Hands, the R.H. Johnson Library and the Arizona Fire and Medical Authority Charities.
