The planning process has begun for an Oct. 18 party to celebrate the Sun City West Pickleball Club’s 20th anniversary as a charted club.
The party will be a two-part celebration. In the daytime the Liberty pickleball courts will be open to Sun City West residents and their guests. There will be exhibition games, introductory lessons, as well as raffle prizes and snacks.
This portion of the celebration will be a community and family-driven event to familiarize people with the sport of pickleball.
The evening celebration for club members will be at Bearsley Park with a DJ, karaoke, lawn games, food trucks and surprises for the members.
The main sponsor for this event will be through club member Eileen Freydberg, a Home Smart Realtor.
