Sun City West Foundation raises funds for community school

Posted

Sun City West Foundation and Nadaburg School District have partnered again to assist the Nadaburg District in collecting Arizona tax credit donations.

As part of the district’s annual fundraising events, Nadaburg School District will  park a yellow school bus  at 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, Nov. 2 , at the Sun City West Foundation,  14465 R.H. Johnson Blvd., to collect donations from residents.

People who invest tax-credit dollars directly to a school are funding programs that otherwise would go unfunded. The Nadaburg Unified School District offers opportunities that other districts do not, including  all-day kindergarten and  free after school activities, and sports.  This small school district truly relies upon the generosity of surrounding communities to make positive differences in the daily lives of its students.

The district includes Desert Oasis Elementary, Nadaburg Elementary, and Mountainside High School, which began in the little red schoolhouse in Wittmann.

Make checks payable to Nadaburg Unified School District and drop it off or mail a check to   Nadaburg School District, Attn: Tax Credit Program, 32919 N. Center Street, Wittmann AZ 85361-9416.
