Sun City West Foundation continues chest compression classes through 2025

Posted

The Sun City West Foundation and the Arizona Fire Medical Authority will continue to offer continuous chest only with use of AED classes on the second Tuesday of each month through the end of 2025. The free class will take about two hours and will start at 9 a.m.

Class dates are as follows, all in the Powell Room (except for December): May 13, June 10, July 8, Aug. 12, Sept. 9, Oct. 14, Nov. 11 and Dec. 9 – in the Grand Canyon Room.

RSVP is required, as space is limited. Reserve a spot by calling AFMA’s main office in Sun City West at 623-544-5400.

The chest compression only technique can save lives because it can help keep blood flowing to the unconscious person’s brain until emergency medical technicians arrive to administer advanced lifesaving techniques.
