Members of Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More recently had the opportunity to learn how to create watercolor-like scenes as a focal point for greeting cards.
Member Bev McClendon demonstrated how to use various watercolor mediums to color and enhance stamped images. First up was the more traditional method of using a small paintbrush and water with a set of dry watercolors; a second option entailed using a wet paintbrush to pick up pigment from brush markers.
McClendon also demonstrated how to use colored pencils to color stamped images and then apply liquid gamsol with a soft blending tool to blend the hues together to create a watercolor effect.
