Throughout the year, members of Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More have opportunities to learn unique greeting card techniques and artistic projects that build on their existing skills and creativity.

Recently, member Lynne Marion taught eager participants how to make custom-fitted envelopes from colorful designer papers and calendar pages using a paper-crafting tool designed for this purpose. The punchboard tool belongs to the club and members may use the tool whenever they are in the club room.

Members made envelopes to coordinate with greeting cards they had previously made as well as one-of-a-kind envelopes using photographs and art from last year’s wall calendars.

SPAM meets in the Beardsley center’s Agave Room on Thursdays (9 a.m.-3 p.m.), Fridays (9 a.m.-3 p.m.) and Saturdays (9 a.m.-5 p.m.).

Call club president Chris Hecht at 602-999-9689 for more information.
