The Shepherd of the Hills Performing Arts Department is presenting The Many Sounds of 9, an ensemble of nine musicians who create the sound and energy of a full big band, 3 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at 13658 W. Meeker Blvd. The event is free to attend, with a free-will offering available for those who wish to contribute. Founded by Dale Gleason, The Many Moods of 9 brings together a lineup of musicians who blend their skills to recreate the magic of a big band.
