First Baptist Church, 17419 N. Conquistador Drive, is hosting a Thanksgiving banquet 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20.
A traditional Thanksgiving dinner from Personal Touch Catering of Phoenix will provide the food. According to Nancy Jakes, minister of worship and administration, Doug Derbyshire and his wife Cheryl, who are missionaries in Thailand, will provide updates regarding their work, while harpist Heidi Hernandez will provide music and the night will end with a Grand Canyon University ensemble short concert, directed by Juan Hernandez.
The cost is $17 per person, and attendees should purchase their tickets at the church office by noon Thursday, Nov. 14.
