Sun City West church hosts labyrinth prayer walk
Submitted photo/Luna Lorenzano
Rooted in ancient tradition, the labyrinth provides a way to slow down and create room for the sacred in the midst of life’s noise. It is an invitation to walk intentionally, open the heart and listen deeply for God’s voice in the early hush of morning.

Shepherd of the Hills United Methodist Church, 13658 W. Meeker Blvd., invites the community to greet the day in peace and prayer at Step into Stillness: A Labyrinth Prayer Walk, taking place 7 a.m. Saturday, June 8, in front of the chapel.
As the sun rises over the morning, participants are invited to walk the labyrinth — a sacred space for reflection, renewal and spiritual connection. With its gentle curves leading inward and outward, the labyrinth mirrors faith journeys, offering a space to pause, breathe and encounter God in stillness.
