Sun City West church announces concert series

Dan Reed and Nicole Pesce will open the 2024-25 concert series at Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 Spanish Garden Drive, with a free community event 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.
Reed began playing trumpet at the age of 9. He has performed in the United States and Canada and with both Carnival and Princess Cruise Lines, before moving to Phoenix in 2011. Reed has played as the featured musician with many local bands.
Pesce is a pianist, keyboardist, composer and arranger. She has performed in Phoenix, nationwide and overseas. She plays blues, classical and jazz.
The concert series will then feature the West Valley Singers Sunday, Nov. 3, The Phoenician Tenors Sunday, Dec. 1, the Sun City Stomperz Sunday, Jan. 5, The Sahnas Brothers with Suzanne Lansford Sunday, Feb. 2, The Salty Dawgs and Friends Sunday, March 2, Desert Winds Steel Orchestra Sunday, April 6 and Dan Reed and Nicole Pesce Sunday, May 4.
Tickets for the December performance are $10 each. The other concerts will accept a free will offering. All concerts begin 1 p.m.
