Sun City West Catholic Daughters make community donations

Through their Goals Committee, members of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court #2278 Our Lady of Lourdes, distributed checks close to $40,000.00 to various charities. Pictured in front is Rosemary Dougherty, regent of Court #2278 Our Lady of Lourdes; in back are Ezekie Spanelli, business manager for Our Lady of Lourdes Church, accepting a donation for Our Lady of Lourdes Church; A. J. Creswell, accepting donation for the Full Circle Program; Debbie Etheridge, accepting donation for Aquacizer Program for Therapists; Jessie Ramirez, for Valley View Food Bank; Lynn Conner, for Surprise Youth Foundation; Sam Pechurow, for Saint Vincent dePaul-Our Lady of Lourdes conference; Mary Becker, for Saint Vincent dePaul-Prince of Peace conference; Nanci Smith, Prince of Peace Cathechesis Program; Marybeth Dougherty, representing Prince of Peace; and Terese Boas, representing Our Lady of Lourdes, accepting for Respect Life, Aid to Women’s Center and Life Choices. There were many other charities that were not able to attend in person and the checks were mailed to them. Monthly court meetings are 9:30 a.m. the third Wednesday of each month at Madonna Hall of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Contact Dougherty at 623-760-8479 for more information.
