Sun City, Sun City West P.E.O. chapters merge

Arizona State P.E.O. chapters BT-Sun City and EK-Sun City West celebrated a six-month venture to merge the two chapters and create a new chapter, BT-EK.

The ladies celebrated the union with a soup and salad luncheon catered by one of the members, Mary Jo Steger. The event, held Jan. 20 at Faith Presbyterian Church in Sun City, was attended by a number of P.E.O. members from across the nation along with invited guests.

Guests included the past Arizona State President Ruth Parker, current Arizona Sate President Molly McNamara, State Vice President Roxann Wetaufer and State Secretary Debbie Luke, who helped with the transition process.

Linda Carr and Shelly Clifford played a piano duet, “Count Your Blessings,” as a tribute to the new chapter.

This newly formed chapter’s annual fashion show luncheon is scheduled for April 5.
