Sun City church slates final summer concert

The 2024 Summer Sundae Sunday concert series at Bellevue Heights Church concludes Sept. 22 with an evening of music and worship featuring Shayla and Mack Blake.
The concert begins at 6 p.m. in the church worship center, 9440 W. Hutton Drive. Admission is free and attendees will be treated to free ice cream sundaes in Franklin Hall after the performance.
Shayla Blake is a concert pianist, composer and arranger of Christian music. She is a music professor and collaborative pianist at Louisiana Tech University School of Music. She has conducted and accompanied choirs and instrumental ensembles of all ages and is a collaborative pianist in Louisiana. Her husband Mack is a soloist.
As a duo, the Blakes have produced five custom recordings, largely of original music, and are a singing duo in the southern states.
