The musical group WildeP’lay will perform 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 1, at Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 Spanish Garden Drive. The group will present “A Magical Music Tour” concert, which will highlight the evolution of popular music through the decades.
There will be swinging tunes of the 1920s-’40s to the rocking rhythms of the 1950s, ‘60s, ‘70s and beyond.
The performers are Donna Wilde, vocals and saxophone, Richard Palalay, piano and keyboards, JP Montalvo, bass, Charles Bulla, drums and vocals, and Tom Boyer, guitar. This is a free community event and a goodwill offering may be made.
The group “Colour Blinde” will perform Sunday, Nov. 5.
