The Summer Sundae Sunday at Bellevue Heights Church concert series continues Aug. 18 with the musical entertainment of Dan Reed on the trumpet and Nicole Pesce on the piano.
The concert begins 6 p.m. in the church worship center, 9440 W. Hutton Drive. Admission is free. Attendees are treated to free ice cream sundaes in Franklin Hall after the performance.
Reed plays new and old jazz standards as well as tributes to some of the famous band leaders of the past. Pianist, keyboardist, composer and arranger Pesce performs with a blend of virtuosity and humor and has a repertoire of more than 12,000 memorized songs,
