The seventh annual Sun Cities 4 Paws Rescue fashion show featured items from the 4 Paws Thrift Boutique for sale, with all proceeds used to help fund the organization.
Maria Gillmore, who has been with the organization for the past 21 years, said 4 Paws’ success depends on dedicated volunteers and those who make charitable donations.
“Volunteers have been so loyal, and it takes village to keep the organization going,” she said.
So far this year, more than 500 cats have been taken in and adopted out. Gillmore said these are trying times and donations are needed more than ever. Individuals can donate items to the thrift store.
