Sun Citian to celebrate 100th birthday
CELEBRATION

Emilie D’Orazio will turn 100 years old April 26.
She and her husband, Pete, lived in Illinois until 1979. They moved to Paradise Valley in 1979 and then to Sun City in 1999.
The two volunteered in several Valley hospitals and eventually at Boswell Hospital. Ms. D’Orazio loves sewing and joined the Stitchers Club at the Bell center. Mr. D’Orazio passed away in 2006, but Ms. D’Orazio still kept busy with sewing, knitting and crocheting. She just finished working on her life story and her family’s ancestry.
She lives with her daughter, Bernie.
Ms. D’Orazio always said she would love to reach 100, and now she will. She says her faith in God and enjoying each day as it comes has brought her to the blessed age.
