The State of Oregon Club is holding a Christmas luncheon 1-4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at the Briarwood Country Club, 20800 N 135th Ave. Check-in begins at 12:45 p.m. The cost is $35 per person for members and $50 per person for non-member guests.
There are three entrée choices: grilled Atlantic salmon, braised beef short ribs or chicken breast marsala. Side dishes include house salad with cucumbers and tomatoes and assorted dressings, house made mashed potatoes, green beans al-mondine and rolls and butter. Dessert is an ice cream sundae with chocolate syrup, whipped cream and chopped nuts. Coffee, tea and water are included. Other beverages are available to purchase with a credit card. No cash is accepted.
Checks with the names of attendees and their entrée selections must be mailed to the State Club of Oregon, PO Box 5162, Sun City West AZ 85376-5162. Prepaid reservations must be received by noon, Wednesday, Dec. 4. Reservations are on a first come, first served basis.
