Every art form requires specialized materials and tools, and card makers are no different. Paper crafters’ tools range from stamps and ink, to dies and cutting machines, trimmers, scoreboards and a plethora of embellishments, all of which are used to alter and decorate paper and cardstock.
The Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More club recently held a “Let’s Get Organized” workshop in which members brought in one or more of their favorite organization systems to share with others.
The opportunity to see how fellow card makers organize their supplies and tools is extremely helpful for those new to the craft and beginning to acquire supplies. Longtime paper crafters with established organization systems oftentimes gather tips to improve their methods or learn about new or different products that help with organization.
Learn how to make greeting cards, papercrafts and scrapbooks (traditional or digital) by joining SPAM in the Beardsley center’s Agave Room on Wednesdays (5-9 p.m.), Thursdays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.), Fridays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.) and Saturdays (10 a.m.-5 p.m.).
