SPAM members of the Cricut digital card making club help one another with design creation or learning issues.

While many members of Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More enjoy making greeting cards, the majority traditionally hand-craft cards using paper, art stamps, scissors and glue, a digital greeting card interest group was also recently formed.
Several SPAM members own electronic cutting devices called a Cricut; the devices are hooked up to a computer and enable crafters to create, print and cut design elements to make dimensional cards or to purchase card designs online and then produce their own personalized copies on the printing and cutting device.
A handful of SPAM members recently started a Saturday Cricut group for those who own the machine and need assistance or want to learn how to get the most out of their device. Recently the group learned how to draw and cut patterns, create and work with fonts, how to clear out the device’s memory cache and more. Working together, the Cricut enthusiasts help one another to get more out of their card making devices.
Learn how to make greeting cards, papercrafts or scrapbooks (traditional or digital) by joining SPAM in the Beardsley center’s Agave Room on Wednesdays (4-9 p.m.), Thursdays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.), Fridays (10 a.m.-3 p.m.) and Saturdays (10 am-5 p.m.).
