The Sounds of the Southwest Singers will perform its Variety of Sounds concert 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 24, at United Church of Sun City, 11250 N. 107th Ave.
The concert will feature favorites from all genres in one concert. Admission is free and open to the public. Donations are tax-deductible and never required, but always welcomed.
The Sounds of the Southwest Singers perform all year and is under the direction of Founding Director Matt Deller. The choir has more than 100 volunteer voices, and 2023 celebrates its 13th year of performing in the Sun City area.
This October, members of the choir will travel to Nashville to make their first professional recording with composer Joseph Martin. In September 2024, they are scheduled to perform in multiple cities throughout Italy.
There are several concerts scheduled locally throughout the remainder of this year and into 2024. The Sounds of the Southwest Singers and Sounds of the Southwest Chorale are open to all who love to sing.
