St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church hosts its Seton Classic “First Car Show Cruise-in” 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at 9728 W. Palmeras Drive. This free event will promote fun, friendship and enjoyment for parishioners, car collectors and lovers of fine automobiles from hot rods to exotics. Around 100 vehicles are expected to be shown.
Car participants are asked to bring a non-perishable item for the SVdP pantry. Upon arrival and registration car participants will receive fresh coffee and donuts as well as a chance at several door prizes. All who wish may try their luck with a chance to win some cash through a 50/50 raffle. Coffee and donuts will also be available for visitors of the show for a small donation.
The highlight of this first show cruise-in is the opportunity to have, at the owners wishes, their car blessed. Ministers of the parish will be on hand to bless any car at the owner’s request.
