The AARP Safe Driving Class is offered to seniors age 50 and older to help drivers live more independently and remain safe on the roads. The class is from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 13131 W. Spanish Garden Drive.

The AARP Safe Driving Class is offered to seniors age 50 and older to help drivers live more independently and remain safe on the roads. The class is from noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, 13131 W. Spanish Garden Drive.
Pre-registration is required. The fee is $20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers, payable by check only. Participants must bring a driver’s license and a check made payable to AARP to the session.
This online course covers research-based safest driving strategies, information on the effects of medication on driving, preventive measures to reduce driver distractions, techniques for handling left turns, right-of-way and roundabouts and rules and regulations in key areas for Arizona.
