The Sun City West Foundation will host a seminar for those who haven’t yet put together a plan for an aging parent, a spouse or themselves.

The seminar is scheduled 9 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5 at the Foundation Building, 14465 R.H. Johnson Blvd.

When it comes to caregiving for seniors “Organizing Today = A Plan for Tomorrow” will provide tips on how to plan for the future. Participants will learn how to start a plan and get some tools for getting organized so they have more time to relax and less worry about the future.

The instructor, Claudia Rumwell, is a registered nurse, educator and author, and spent most of her life in the Pacific Northwest attending Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing and Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. Ms. Rumwell and her husband moved to Arizona in late-2015.

While the seminar is free, registration is required by calling 623-584-6851.

Sun City West Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit community center to support charitable, educational and service activities and organizations that serve the community. The agency relies on donations to support its services. The Foundation offers Helping Hands, banquet and meeting rooms, community service support with free use of the Foundation’s facilities as well as financial grants for transportation.
