The Recreation Centers of Sun City West is temporarily closing its Computers West clubroom because of a lack of compliance with COVID-19 regulations.
The club submitted a reopening plan in May, as did other chartered clubs wanting to reopen their facilities. However, members have been found in violation of those plans – particularly not wearing masks on multiple occasions - even after multiple warnings from staff.
As a result, the club room will be closed from Sept. 25 through Oct. 5.
The Rec Centers reminds all association members that COVID restrictions, including face masks (a Maricopa County mandate), physical distancing and gatherings of no more than 50 people (a Gov. Ducey mandate) will be enforced.
