SCHUTTE DOWLING: Parks & Sons amazes winter SCW residents

We’ve been living in Sun City West for the winter months for 23 years.
I continue to be amazed by our Parks & Sons trash and commingled recyclables collection service. They provide a handy annual printed policies and calendar schedule, which I tape to a wall in our garage, with very clear instructions/rules for handling different types of recyclables, trash or other waste; and they follow these rules to the T — through hail and high water!
Have you ever watched their most professional friendly employees run and smile while emptying the sunken trash bins on a block? I’ve never known them to miss a day. Have you ever been in New York City or Paris during a garbage strike? If not, you can’t even imagine.
So, especially during these challenging times, I’m most grateful for service we can always count on from Parks & Sons.
