R.H. Johnson Social Hall, Sun City West Posse Headquarters ready for voters

The Recreation Centers of Sun City West R.H. Johnson Social Hall, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd. and the Sun City West Posse Headquarters, 20450 N. Stardust will be designated polling places today, Nov. 5.

The Recreation Centers of Sun City West is providing the space to Maricopa County as a community service, but the association is otherwise not involved in the election. Election officials will be onsite to handle all voting matters.

The social hall  is private property and is designated as a non-electioneering   location, meaning no campaigning, demonstrations or other political activity can occur on the Rec Centers’ property, even outside the 75-foot limit. The closest public property would be the sidewalk on the south side of the property, at R.H. Johnson Boulevard.

The Sun City West Posse Headquarters  is open today 6 a.m.-7 p.m. for in-person voting and as a ballot drop box location.
