Residents can take part in a pet blessing
(Metro Creative Graphics)
Posted
A pet blessing ceremony is taking place 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 W. Thunderbird Blvd. The event should last approximately 45 minutes. Pastor Stuart Salvatierra will bless both the pet and the owner.
Community members of all faiths are invited to bring pets on leashes or in crates and can bring a picture or memory of the alive or deceased pet for the pet celebration bulletin board. Treats and water for the pets and owners will be served.
