Reilly: Resident questions Hickman defense of elections

In response to the article (“Residents bend legislators’ ears,” Sun City West Independent, April 12, 2023) it was reported reported Maricopa County Supervisor Clint Hickman as taking the position “when it comes to elections, he is satisfied and said the Arizona results were fair and accurate. He defended the election process...”
Gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake was interviewed April 11 by One American News. Lake was the 2022 GOP candidate for Arizona governor and she is currently appealing the election results. According to Lake, she is, “Still in the fight... We went all the way to the Arizona Supreme Court and they ruled that the lower court made a mistake and they need to take up a big part of our case, which is the signature verification part...so many mail-in ballots are sent in and the only security feature we have on those mail-in ballots is that signature. You’re signing an affidavit when you’re signing it...Signatures were not being checked. Somebody up the food chain was pushing in bogus ballots and counting them to the tune of 150,000 bogus ballots...Unfortunately, Maricopa county is trying to stonewall us and keep us from getting those signatures so that we can compare them...We’re in a battle.”
So this begs the questions, if Maricopa County is following the law, why is Maricopa County not providing the 2022 so-called bogus ballots to Kari Lake? Why isn’t Maricopa County cooperating with and following the instructions from the Arizona Supreme Court? Finally, if the election was as clean and as pure as the driven snow, what is Maricopa County hiding, as evidenced by their lack of cooperation with the Kari Lake team?
In my personal opinion, the 2020 Arizona presidential election was rigged and the outcome was predetermined. Likewise, the 2022, Arizona gubernatorial election was rigged and was predetermined.
Fair and accurate elections? Not a chance!
