Reader wants coverage for protests planned for June 14

I am a resident of Sun City West, but more importantly I am a citizen of the United States. On June 14th, when Mr. Trump is having his glorious parade in Washington DC, the nation will be having a major protest in all 51 states. There are eight protests planned for Congressional District 8 alone, not to mention other parts of the city and downtown. It will be huge. 

I believe it is the newspaper's responsibility to report on events, and to ignore, or not even mention, the protests that have been going on here for months, is not true reporting. You do not have to take a side to let the public know what is happening in their neighborhood and state. There will be 1,800 events taking place all over the US and I think not acknowledging this is happening is wrong. You mention murders, police action, land use disputes and restaurants closing. Don't you think that this is just, if not more, important?
