Photography West Club to capture witches in flight
Posted
As part of the 2022 Witches Ride for Charity Oct. 27, benefiting Benevilla, the Photography West Club will be on board to capture the witches in their mystical and whimsical regalia riding their decorated golf cars and bikes on a designated route through Sun City West.
Chartered 41 years ago, currently with 430 members, the Photography West Club is dedicated to advancing the arts and techniques of photography and videography as a means of personal expression. While the facilities at their Beardsley center club include top quality photo, video, digital and audio transfer equipment, members enjoy a variety of social networking events.
The club sponsors 12 local day trips a year for photo opportunities as well as trips to different parts of the world. On selected Tuesdays (July 12 and Aug. 9) during the summer, the club hosts a variety of photo programs at 10 a.m. at the Stardust Theater. Guests are welcome to attend.
“The relationship the Witches Ride would have with the club would be one of mutual support,” stated Jim Keane, President of the Photography West Club.
