Local chapter CK-ED of Philanthropic Educational Organization initiated two new sisters and celebrated their annual spring luncheon March 17. PEO is a 150-year-old women’s organization, founded by seven young college women in Iowa. It is a sisterhood that promotes and supports education for women of all ages through scholarships, grants and low interest loans. Pictured are the 23 members who attended the initiation and luncheon as well as the new initiates, Jean Balk and Erica Hutchinson.
