Chuck and Betty Mulcahy presented a talk on “For Goodness Snakes!” at the January meeting of Rockhounds West, in the R.H. Johnson Lecture Hall.
The Mulcahys are Sun City West residents who have kept a variety of snakes for more than 30 years.
Rockhounders were educated on snake bites and behavior and saw a video of snakes eating. Attendees also learned emergency measures for snake bites. A highlight of the talk was personal interaction with several species of live snakes.
