Sun City West Model Railroad Club president Howie Mann recently recognized radio station KSCW 103.5 with a donation for their community service. The club’s G-garden scale outdoor trains at Beardsley have been silenced for the summer season on a scheduled basis, while work still continues and a train may run once in a while. The N/HO indoor, air-conditioned trains continue to operate through the summer, even though maintenance and scenery changes are being done. The R.H. Johnson hours stay the same all year, normally 9 a.m.-noon Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The Choo-Choo Chicks continue with their activities as well.
