Opportunities to learn how to create one-of-a-kind greeting cards abound at Scrapbooking, Papercrafts & More club.
An Offset Circle technique was recently taught by member Lloydyne Vining. The eye-catching design may be altered to suit a horizontal or vertical format depending on the desired outcome.
Using designer papers in complementary bold colors and patterns and three sizes of circle dies, attendees learned how to cut, layer and arrange the spheres and then embellish the designs with stamped or die cut greetings to make bold all-occasion cards.
SPAM meets in the Beardsley Rec Center’s Agave Room on Wednesdays (4-9 p.m.), Thursdays (9 a.m.-3 p.m.), Fridays (9 a.m.-3 p.m.) and Saturdays (9 a.m.-5 p.m.).
