Mac-Cro-Knit club member Bobbi Bagley demonstrated how to crochet a jar opener edge to Barbara Zachary and Janis Camp at a teaching event July 8 at the R.H. Johnson Library.

The event was sponsored by the Recreation Centers of Sun City West and featured various clubs whose members taught skills to those who registered to participate.

Both knitting and crocheting lessons were given by club members and about 10 residents filled the classroom to learn these skills.

The Mac-Cro-Knit Club meets 8-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in Room 3/Pueblo Room at the Kuentz center. Guests are always welcome.
