Lynn Ann Regalia Rode

Posted
On Friday, April 21, 2023, Lynn Ann Rode, loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away at the age of 71. Lynn was born on December 12, 1951 to Mario and Cornelia Regalia in San Francisco, California. A woman of many talents, her career in Escrow kept her busy for more than 35 years in both Marin and Sonoma County. Retirement took her to Lincoln, California where she was an avid member of the Paper Arts Club along with many other clubs and activities. Lynn’s faith was an important part of her life therefore she was very active in the Catholic Church. In 2017, she moved to warmer weather in Sun City, Arizona where she continued her passion in arts and crafts joining several clubs. Lynn worked as the Executive Director at Sun City Community Assistance Network (CAN) for 5 years giving so much love and passion to her role. As a volunteer, Lynn dedicated much of her free time to many organizations including Meals on Wheels, reading to children in Maricopa County Schools, and teaching catechism at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church. Lynn was a loving mother to her daughters Traci Sloan Piatt (Rob) and Kelly Rode Mazzotta (Brian). Becoming a Memaw to Katelynn Piatt Colon (Francisco), Robbie Piatt (Shara), Grandma to Ciera and Joe Mazzotta, and Great Memaw to Alana and Ada Colon brought her absolute joy. Lynn loved her family and friends and will be missed by so many, especially her sisters Carol Glennon (John), Sally Crowley (Dan), Judy LaBrucherie (Darren) and Patty Blain (Tim) along with her many nieces, nephews and great nieces. A mass will be held to honor Lynn on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 12:00 pm at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 W. Palmeras Drive Sun City, Arizona. A reception will immediately follow mass at the St. Elizabeth Seton Parish Hall. A private family internment will take place at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in San Rafael, California. In lieu of flowers our family asks that donations be made to Meals on Wheels of Sun City, Arizona, or Sun City Community Assistance Network. These organizations held a special place in Lynn’s heart.
