A free presentation on “Understanding Long Term Care,” featuring five experts from community organizations on topics of situations faced during long term care, is 9 a.m.-noon Friday, March 31, at Grace Bible Church, 19280 N. 99th Ave.
Topics to be presented include “Paying for Long Term Care” by Attorney Lora Johnson of Johnson and Associates; “Dementia Care” by Jill Parsons, Sun Health Memory Care Navigator; “In-home Care Options” by Presley Reader, owner of ComForCare Home Health; “Senior Living Options” by Teri Sellers of Golden Assist Placement Services; and “Hospice vs Palliative Care” by Sylvia Butler of Hospice of the West.
Registration and visiting of the vendors will begin at 8 a.m. There will be door prizes donated by multiple vendors. Due to limited space, reservations are limited to 150. Register by calling 623-556-6244 no later than 4 p.m. Thursday, March 23; no walk-ins can be accommodated.
