Local priest celebrates 50 years of service

Father Bill Fournier, an ordained priest since June 9, 1973, in Duluth, MN, has been serving parishes in Sun City and Sun City West since his retirement in 2012. He is currently working at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Our Lady of Lourdes parishes.

A celebration for his 50th years of priestly ordination is scheduled for the weekend of June 10-11 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N. 128th Ave. Fournier will be celebrating masses of thanksgiving at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. There will be a reception following the 9 a.m. mass in Madonna Hall, marking this milestone.
