Local church supports community center

Annie Ansell, Executive Director of the Dysart Community Center, received a gift of $534.31 from Advent Episcopal Church, 13150 Spanish Garden Drive.

The donation, presented by rector The Rev. Canon Timothy M. Dombek, will go toward school supplies for children who need help.

The gift was part of “Open Plate Sunday” at Advent, where all non-designated cash in the plate was donated to the center July 31.
