Legion Post 94 participates in Veterans Day events today

American Legion Post 94 in Sun City West participates in Veterans Day events.

American Legion Post 94 Cmdr. Jack Coyle said members will participate in the Veterans Appreciation Day at Floor & Decor Surprise, 13230 N. Prasada Pkwy. , from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

The North West Valley Veterans Association will host the Veterans Day ceremony at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N. Del Webb Blvd.  Post 94 Honor Guard will participate in the ceremony, and Founder and Executive Director Rick Kreiberg will be the guest speaker. Patriotic music starts at 8:30 a.m. followed by the start of the program at 9 a.m. Lunch will be served. 

Post 94  will visit veterans at the Palos Verde Senior Living Center, 18442 N. 87th Ave., to perform a flag-folding ceremony.
