Learn how to run a compliant HOA in Sun City West

The Organizations of Homeowners Associations of Sun City West is offering three two-hour evening classes focusing on how to run a successful and legally compliant Arizona HOA, including discussion of new state statues. These classes are for new HOA board members and those who need an update on the basics of running an HOA.

A legal overview of HOAs will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, with Ember Van Vranken, Esq. & Dianne Dickman, Esq. CHDB Law LLP. How to run an effective board and member meeting will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, with Lisa Hoyer, vice president of community relations at Alpha Community Management. The third class 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 involves practical details of serving on an HOA board with Gail Olsen, OHOA board chairperson. All sessions are in the R.H. Johnson Lecture Hall, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd.

There will be an opportunity to ask the speaker questions.

The cost is $25 for OHOA members and $35 for non-members.
