Judith, age 75, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024. Judith was born in September 1949 to Norma and Walter Cook in Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up in Southern California until her family moved to Westchester, New York. She attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia where she met and married Michael Reagan. Together they were active in Atlanta’s artistic world.
Judith used her creative talents in the area of fiber arts – weaving, quilting, applique, embroidering, paper and bookmaking and creating spirit dolls. After her marriage ended, she moved to the southern Appalachian Mountains and continued developing her artistic vision.
Early in 2013, Judith joined her sister, Janet, in Sun City West, Arizona. While she missed the green Georgia mountains, she learned to love Arizona’s desert landscapes. She found kindred spirits in the Creative Stitchers’ Club and the Palo Verde Patchers and made many wonderful friendships. Judith will be greatly missed by her family and all her friends in Georgia and Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local food bank or the Community Fund of Sun City West.
