The Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of Lourdes Council 11809, and Valley View Community Food Bank thank all those who helped make the “Give From The Heart” food drive Feb. 13 for the local needy and hungry of the community such a success.
Both Jesse Ramirez and I express their thanks to the residents of the Sun Cities communities for their help. We also thank KSCW radio, PORA, Sun City West and the Independent newspapers for their help in promoting the drive. We also want to especially thank the Sun City West Foundation for allowing the use of the Sun City West Posse parking lot for this drive.
This is the third food drive since August by the Knights at this location and every one of them has been great due to the generosity of the people who took the time to help out.
