Posted

Whether or not the weather cooperates, the Grand Dance Club is ready to leave the winter behind and get ready for an Arizona spring. Helping the club get in the spirit is Vito Mandarino of Music by Vito.

He has performed locally and on the East Coast for 40 years and has a devoted following in The Grand.

His repertoire of danceable tunes, include foxtrots rumbas, waltz cha cha, tango, meringue and East Coast swing.

The dance will be from 7-10 p.m. Friday, March 24 at the Cimaron Center, 17100 W. Clearview Blvd. in Surprise. Dressing to fit the spring season is optional but no jeans, shorts or flip flops.

Tickets may be purchased for $12 online at www.suncitygrand.com or at the activities desk. Snacks and soft drinks are welcome but no outside alcohol is permitted.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m with a cash bar. The dance is open to the public.
