Sandmaier: Even CDC says no masks in water

Posted

Everyone seems to agree that we should listen to scientists.

On cdc.gov it clearly states: “Advise those wearing masks to not wear them in the water. Masks can be difficult to breathe through if wet.”

But to be fair, this is as a warning to those that wear them, I did not see statements on site that say it causes any risk to others.

There is a possibility of liability issues to Recreation Centers of Sun City West if they see people wearing masks in water and not making them aware of risks.

But that would be a question for our lawyers.
