Enter a public art competition at Park West

Park West and the city of Peoria have joined forces to launch a public art competition themed, #PeoriaProud, to engage, involve and unite the community.
West Valley residents are invited to submit 2D art -- drawings, paintings, digital illustrations -- designed to uplift the community.
Artists are encouraged to showcase the theme and create their masterpiece. Four winning entries will be reproduced on vinyl (large scale format) and installed on Park West storefronts in early October.
Do not submit: offensive language or visuals, business promotions or political or religious denomination statements.
Any artist who resides in the West Valley may submit.
Submissions are due Sept. 10, 2020.
Ten finalists will be selected from a public Facebook vote, and the Peoria Arts Commission will select four winners to be announced Sept. 23.
Each winner will receive a gift certificate to their favorite Park West store or restaurant: 1st - $500; 2nd - $250; 3rd - $100; 4th - $50.
